Doris H. Kidwell, CPA
Doris Kidwell, CPA has been with Thompson, Greenspon & Co., P.C. since 1979 and as a principal since 1988.
As an experienced CPA, she has had an opportunity to work in virtually all facets of the practice. Her primary industry specialization has been in the construction and professional services group where she has developed a substantial client base. Within these industry groups, she has also specialized in the areas of employee benefits as well as advising on appropriate retirement and cafeteria plans. In her consulting capacity to owners of closely held businesses she not only advises on financial planning for the owners but comprehensive retirement plans for the owners and employees of the business as well. Working with growth companies, this area has become one of the fastest growing within the industry over the past few years.
Doris holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Taxation from George Mason University. She has also participated in numerous continuing education programs of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia State Society of CPAs.
Doris takes an active participation in the Northern Virginia area community through her involvement with the George Mason University and the Fairfax Symphony. Professionally, she is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Virginia State Society of CPAs and the Northern Virginia Chapter of the VSCPA.
